Dolmen near to village Hlyabovo, Bulgaria

Dolmens (from Breton: Dol – table, and me – stone) are the first representatives of the monumental tomb architecture in the Bulgarian lands.

The dolmens are elongated one- or two-chamber rooms whose walls are formed by natural or roughly shaped stone blocks, covered on top with another large stone block.

After the funeral on dolmen was built small mound of earth and pebbles. The dolmen near the village Hlyabovo is the largest in Bulgaria. The ancient monument is dated to the early Iron Age (ca. 1050-500 BCE).

Mysterious stones of Valley of the Moon, Argentina

Ischigualasto Provincial Park, also called Valle de la Luna (“Valley of the Moon” or “Moon Valley”), due to its otherworldly appearance, is a provincial protected area in the north-east of San Juan Province, north-western Argentina, limiting to the north with the Talampaya National Park, in La Rioja Province.

Both areas belong to the same geological formation, the Ischigualasto Formation (sometimes Ischigualasto-Talampaya Formation) Established on 3 November 1971, the park has an area of 60,370 ha (603.7 km2; 233.1 sq mi)

In 2000 UNESCO included Ischigualasto and Talampaya National Park among its World Heritage Sites.

Microbe-controlled Muscle

Swallowing food, digesting it, and finally excreting the waste at the other end depends on peristalsis – the involuntary muscle movement that transports and mixes food substances as they pass through the gastrointestinal tract. Although these rhythmic muscle movements are essential for feeding and digestion in animals as diverse as humans and simple invertebrate hydra, very little is understood about what controls the process. Now scientists have discovered that, in hydra at least, peristaltic contractions (a typical cycle of which is shown) are regulated in part by the organisms’ own microbes. Removing the microbiota from hydra caused peristaltic contractions to diminish in frequency and regularity, while restoring the microbes (or their secretions) prompted more typical contractions. Given that disrupted microbiomes have been associated with gut motility disorders in humans, the new research suggests that gut microbe imbalance may not simply be a consequence of such disorders, but possibly a cause.

Dimapur mysterious ruins

Kachari ruins are situated in Dimapur, the ancient Kachari capital. It is one of the important sites of megalithic culture. Most of the ruins appear to be contemporaneous with the Kachari civilization.

Giant Chess Board in Nagaland is from the Mahabharata era & the ancient giant Chess pieces said to be used by Bheema and Ghatotkacha at that time.

Megaliths have similar features to the Euro-Asia, some menhirs and South America, but their structure and ornamentation are unique.

Something similar is located in Kasomari Pathar, here at megaliths a different ornament. Source

The satellite noticed an unusual UFOs clouds

In January 2007, satellites have made a picture of extraordinary leaky clouds over the US south. Such clouds appear over the Earth every year in the middle and high latitudes

December 28, 2016 these leaky clouds captured the eastern part of China MODIS sensor on the satellite “Terra”.

This strange phenomenon – the result of a combination of low temperature, air movement and atmospheric instability. If you look at a cloud full of holes from the bottom up, it seems that part of the cloud falls from the sky. As it turned out, so actually it is happening. Middle clouds are formed from droplets of liquid at a temperature below 0 ° Celsius. When a plane flies through a cloud, created interference that cause freezing. In place of the water droplets grow ice particles. As a result, the ice crystals in the clouds these areas become so large that it literally falls from the sky.

Cloud formation in this picture are more similar than the hole, and on the line or long channels. For the creation of both configurations leaky clouds meet the same processes. Will the circular or linear form of emptiness depends on a number of parameters – cloud density, wind shear and temperature.

Leaky and channel clouds can appear together, like in the picture, taken in December 2015. They often occur near airports.

The Narmer Palette

One of the most famous artefacts found in ancient Egypt, this 60×40 cm slab of carved greenish siltstone. The stone is tough enough to carve without flaking and well consolidated, and comes from a quarry used since pre-dynastic times at Wadi Hammamat. The stone has some of the earliest examples of hieroglyphics carved on its shaped surface, along with a series of pictures whose interpretation has proved controversial.
