Nikon is working on a full-frame mirrorless camera
To say that Nikon is configured conservatively relative to mirrorless cameras is nothing to say. While the majority of competitors actively produces such models (even careful Canon takes them very seriously), the efforts of Nikon in this area at best can be called timid: series 1 fits except as a replacement for conventional citraconate than SLR cameras.
Fortunately, the situation began to change. At least in the conversation with the Chinese Xitek resource head of research and development by the Japanese company goto Tetsuro (Tetsuro Goto) said that any mirrorless camera the Nikon “must be” full-frame. Given that the President of Nikon said earlier about the ongoing work on a mirrorless camera, it is clear that she will get a huge sensor.
Why the company thinks so? According to Mr. goto, competitors Fujifilm, Olympus and Sony do not focus fully on the professional photographers with their mirrorless offers. “Their products are professionals do not use”, — he said. To agree with this statement hard: the same Sony A9 is clearly aimed at professionals, but still we must agree that most of them probably created for enthusiasts and the public, not considering photography as a main source of income.
No details Tetsuro goto, of course, not reported. Recently, however, Nikon has patented two fixed full-frame lens (36 mm with aperture of f/1.2 and sverhsvetovoy 52 mm f/0,9), clearly focused on portraits and other professional needs. Of course, one should not expect that the camera and the lenses for it are cheap.
